Contemplating life

Category:Contemplating life

A contemplative life is about pausing and reflecting on deeper things. Articles here ponder on various topics that effect the way we live our lives.

A contemplative lifeWomen sitting on pier
A contemplative life requires stillness and the intent to live with purpose and presence. When we find that moment of silence, we experience the solitude of contemplation.
Aging
As we age, we will be presented with limitations that affect the way we get on with being here and living our life.
Elder respect
Many of us were brought up to respect elders but I am sure they didn't mean to blindly respect them at all costs, at least I hope not because bad behaviour is bad behaviour no matter who it is.
Friends with diverse beliefs
Can we really have true friendships with people we don’t share the same values, spiritual or religious beliefs?
Life doesn't feel spiritual
We are a spiritual being having a human life, yet we keep telling people they should not be human. Now that’s silly because the soul wanted us to evolve through human evolution.
Minimalism
Minimalism simplifies life and brings less suffering to the earth. As a result, it will play into humanity, the earth, sustainability, spirituality, clothing, food, and possessions to name a few.
Owning our truth
The mind distorts the truth and likes to mess with us. The truth is revealed within us; thus, we must discover it from our experience, not our belief.
Plagiarism
Using other people’s ideas, insights, information, writing’s and passing them off as one’s own is stealing. It is not only morally wrong, but it is plagiarism.
We are human
We are a spiritual being having a human life, yet we keep telling people they should not be human. Now that’s silly because the soul wanted us to evolve through a human evolution.
Writing
If the art of writing is open to others to share their thoughts and insight’s, it gives others a voice to pull out something from their inner they may not have even known was there.
