Trying to be yourself in a world that doesn’t understand often means dealing with sensory overwhelm and social pressure.

This site explores what it means to be autistic and how to embrace your real self. I share my journey of discovering I was autistic at 63 and being diagnosed at 64. I live a reclusive life on my own terms, without following trends or labels. This site reflects that path and the freedom experienced from living life on your own terms.

We are like anyone else, unique souls here to live meaningful lives, not to fit into society’s narrow ideas of normal but to help the world embrace all kinds of minds. Awareness has improved, but acceptance is still a long way catching up. Many feel forced to hide who they are, which creates the illusion of so called high functioning autism.
